To-Do’s When Staging Your Home
Here are some tips for getting the most out of staging your home and getting it ready for a new family!
Get rid of the clutter
Don’t overcrowd your living room or kitchen with decorations, make your home look more open by taking some of the clutter out. Less is sometimes better when it comes to decorating your staged home.
Nothing welcomes people into a room better than perfect lighting! Add some lamps by your nightstand, or on your dresser. Adding a few lamps in the living room and dining room are another great way to bring the room together do not just rely on the overhead lights.
Painting Your Walls
Painting the walls of your home will not only make it more colorful but will show that the fresh coat of paint is something to add a little change in your home. We recommend sticking with neutral colors, although you may love your red kitchen, not everyone wants bright colors and they will likely reduce your offers on the home!
Change up the way that you hang your family pictures of canvas’s. Doing so will show off the wall and the space the room has.
Make a Good First Impression
Add color and clear out open spaces. Cleaning out your closets and hiding your animals toys will also make the home stand out more. Nobody wants to see your dogs toys in every room of the home or a pair of socks on the floor of your when walking through a showing.
